Triphala, 'three fruits,' is perhaps Ayurveda's most beloved formula — amalaki, bibhitaki and haritaki in equal balance. Gently cleansing and nourishing, it is traditionally taken each evening and is balancing for all three doshas.
How to take: ½–1 tsp in a cup of warm water before bed, or stirred into a little honey. Start with a small amount.
