An ancient plant that has barely changed since the age of the dinosaurs, horsetail is naturally rich in silica. Herbalists have long used it in teas and rinses for healthy hair, skin and nails.
How to brew: 1 tsp per cup of water. Simmer 10–15 minutes, then strain. Also lovely as a hair rinse once cooled.
