Heady, sweet and unmistakably romantic, whole jasmine blossoms have perfumed teacups across China and South Asia for generations. Steep them on their own for a delicate floral cup, or add a pinch to green or white tea for a fragrant lift.
How to brew: 1–2 tsp per cup of water just off the boil (about 185°F). Steep 3–5 minutes; longer steeping can turn it bitter.
Taste: floral, perfumed, lightly sweet
Traditionally used for: uplifting the mood, quiet moments, gentle relaxation
Pairs with: green tea, rose, chamomile
