Known in Ayurveda as a medhya rasayana, a rejuvenator of the mind, gotu kola has long been a companion to meditation and study. It makes a green, lightly bitter tea that blends well with mint and tulsi.
How to brew: 1–2 tsp per cup of just-boiled water. Cover and steep 10 minutes.
