A flat, smooth teether cut from a single piece of unfinished beech wood, in a friendly shape that is easy for small fingers to hold. Firm wood gives gentle counter-pressure on sore gums, with nothing painted or coated.
Material: natural beech wood, listed by the maker as food grade. No paint or varnish.
Shapes: star, elephant, bear or whale.
Age: from birth, most loved from about 3 months when teething starts.
What it supports: grasping, hand-to-mouth exploration, and teething comfort.
Care: wipe clean with a damp cloth and let it air dry. Do not soak, boil or put it in the dishwasher. Rub with a little food-safe oil or beeswax now and then.
Safety: always supervise. Check for cracks before each use and replace it if the wood splits. Do not tie it around your baby's neck.
