Benefits: Rasāyana; strengthens ojas, adaptogen, nervine.
Healing Uses: Insomnia, anxiety, low libido, adrenal fatigue, arthritis, weakness.
Doshic Effects: Vata ↓, Pitta ↔/↓, Kapha ↔/↑ (heaviness).
Preparation: ½–1 tsp powder in warm milk with ghee at night; or capsules.
Flavor (Rasa): Bitter, astringent, sweet.
Post-digestive (Vipāka): Sweet.
Notes: Avoid in hyperthyroidism, severe congestion, or during pregnancy unless guided.
