Ashwagandha is one of Ayurveda's most treasured rasayanas — a grounding, strengthening root especially balancing for vata and kapha. Finely powdered, it is the most traditional way to enjoy this herb, stirred into warm milk at the end of the day.
How to take: ½–1 tsp once or twice daily, stirred into warm milk (dairy or plant) with a little honey or ghee, or into warm water.
